About PBCA

A Congolese organization, at the heart of the Congo Basin

PBCA was founded on a simple belief: conserving primates and biodiversity in the Congo Basin is a global responsibility that demands scientific rigor, community engagement, and international cooperation.

PBCA

Who We Are

Based in Kinshasa, PBCA operates at both national and international levels, in accordance with existing laws.

We work at the heart of ecologically rich yet fragile areas, where biodiversity is extraordinary but under threat. We also explore new and often overlooked regions, with the goal of designating them as protected areas.
